Safety is where the ethical standards of operators meet the passengers' highest demand. Whether Part 91 or 135,
safety remains the highest concern. Most of BusinessJet Class agency subscribers are corporate implants or manage
corporate travel departments. They are often confronted with the perception that safety on a corporate fleet
is better than safety on a chartered fleet. Safety management programs are often perceived to be more rigorous
than safety procedures practiced by most operators. The FAA does not mandate a safety management program for
Part 135 operators, but BusinessJet Class considers this program as an essential requirement in becoming a
Preferred or Partner Operator.
To simplify the process and remove obstacles, BusinessJet Class will fund your participation in
the Aviation Research Group/U.S., Inc. (ARG/US) Safety Officer Support Program (ASOS).
The program includes:
- Computer-based training modules for continuous real-world safety education
- On-demand research, from professional aviation safety
experts and analysts,
- Internal, progressive safety evaluation checklists to help audit system-critical functions and uncover areas that may need revision or improvement,
- Monthly safety newsletters, read-files, and safety highlights,
- FleetwatchT reports that provides historical safety research for the specific type of aircraft managed by the operator,
- Customized Emergency Response Manuals and Flight Safety Manuals
Furthermore, BusinessJet Class will customize the safety program and help make safety a measurable element
of the business process. In this way, the monthly monitoring that is part of the ASOS program and that
is managed by ARG/US, will provide you with the indicators you need to steer your safety program in the
right direction. BusinessJet Class will also provide the tools and, wherever possible, the resources
to implement the required changes.
