New York NY (February 25, 2005) -- BusinessJet Class has named Gus Alba Vice President
of Sales and Marketing for the new private jet alliance and GDS. He is responsible for
developing the travel agency distribution channel and supporting marketing functions,
according to President George Khairallah, who made the announcement.
Mr. Alba brings BusinessJet Class valuable insight and expertise in the area of GDS and
next generation systems, as well as travel agent channel management. Mr. Alba was Regional
Director for Worldspan, responsible for directing the Eastern U.S.sales team that serviced
the retail Travel Agent market. Prior to Worldspan he was U.S. Sales and Partnership
Manager for Sonera, Inc., an IT company specializing in wireless technology applications
designed for the travel industry. He also brings airline experience to his new company,
having served Finnair in the capacity of Commercial Business Development Manager USA.
In the early 1990's he oversaw the development of Finnair's corporate travel business
in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe and Russia.
