BusinessJet Class Adds Guaranteed Aircraft Availability Pricing Introduces one-way rates & advance purchase discounts to private jet charter

New York NY (June 17, 2005) -- Observing that the fastest growing segment of private air charter sales is in fractional ownership and prepaid membership plans, BusinessJet Class has enhanced its private air charter GDS display to show two pricing levels that address the needs of two distinct market segments:

  • Guaranteed Aircraft Availability Pricing, including one-way fares and 7-day advance purchase discounts (without minimum stay), quotes rates and service levels that allow BusinessJet Class travel management companies and travel agency subscribers to compete with major jet card membership programs.
  • Stored Inventory Pricing, including all fees and charges at rates, quotes rates that are better or equal to those quoted directly by air charter operators based on aircraft availability and owner's authorization. This option gives agents who are booking direct with air charter operators an easy way to quote prices comparable to operator-direct pricing without having to call three or four different operators to find the best price
Unlike the prepaid private jet membership plans who charge their passengers based on fixed hourly rates, BusinessJet Class rates are based on the city pair and the aircraft type. These rates include all charges -- no hidden or seasonal add-ons -- even special catering and flight phone expenses. [See table below.]

BusinessJet Class also offers a unique feature not seen in private jet charter before: Advanced Purchase rates. "The rates on private jet membership programs that guarantee availability are higher than standard charter because of the difficulties and inherent risks in promising to secure an aircraft of a specific type on short notice," said George J. Khairallah, President of BusinessJet Class."These problems are reduced when the passenger is booking 7 days in advance. We pass the savings on to the passenger."

The new Guaranteed Availability capability allows agents to address a much wider segment of private jet passengers. "This program is the closest you can get to the benefits of owning a prviate jet, without the financial commitment or even membership prepayment," said Khairallah. "This is a discounted, flexible, easy way for travel agents to provide all the benefits of jet card membership programs to their clients."
