Lufthansa and BusinessJet Class Sign Private Jet Agreement

New York, April 3, 2006-
BusinessJet Class, the first marketing and automated distribution system for private jet charter, has signed an agreement with
Lufthansa, the first commercial carrier to offer its own private jet service, Lufthansa Private Jet. This agreement now gives
travel agents the ability to book Lufthansa scheduled flights in conjunction with Lufthansa Private Jet flights, seamlessly and
exclusively on the BusinessJet Class reservation system.
"We are very excited to be working with BusinessJet Class to provide our travel agent partners with automated access to Lufthansa
Private Jet services. Lufthansa Private Jet is a premium, customized service designed to meet the growing needs of passengers
who value time, flexibility and quality when traveling throughout Europe," said Lori Schultz, Premium Niche Product Manager at
Lufthansa. "Features include individual choice of catering, transit service, as well as separate
passport and security checks,"
Schultz added.
And now for the first time, agents can shop from a single display, a complete itinerary originating in any of the 3500+ general
aviation airports in the US to any of the 1000+ destinations in Europe offered by Lufthansa Private Jet. The BusinessJet Class
reservation system will automatically build the itineraries from the point of origin, through the most appropriate LH Gateway
in the US, and the most adequate LH hub in Germany.
"BusinessJet Class envisions the future of air transportation as a network that seamlessly combines scheduled airline flights and
on-demand private air charter service. Lufthansa Private Jet is the first application of this concept," said George J. Khairallah,
President of BusinessJet Class in making the announcement. "According to a study by JD Power and Associates, 45 percent of all private
jet flights are booked in conjunction with long haul commercial flights. We created the BusinessJet Class distribution system with the
specific intention of automating and facilitating the sale of this integrated product."
To celebrate this agreement and emphasize BusinessJet Class’ commitment to the travel agency community, BusinessJet Class will
offer its appointed agents a 5% commission on all Lufthansa First Class transatlantic segments booked through BusinessJet Class
in conjunction with a US domestic private jet.
Lufthansa is offering a $500 incentive for every LH Private Jet booked in conjunction with a Lufthansa First Class transatlantic segment,
maximum benefit per round trip, $1000.
